During high school I loved doing gigs on the side for family and friends and taking online commissions. Back then you could get your hands on a Noor original for the low low price of $20.

This experience definitely helped me with developing professional communication skills and making illustrations in styles outside of my comfort zone. It was the first time my art was taken so seriously and looked at so carefully, so I naturally also had to learn how to cope with feedback and having some back an forth with clients. It was a huge motivator for me to keep drawing and develop my skills further.
